Pet Claims Handler - Salary up to GBP24,000 - Surrey

Barker Munro Recruitment are working with this well known Pet Insurance Company based in Surrey who are currently looking to fill the role of Pet Claims handler within their office in Surrey.

As a Pet Claims handler you will work within a team of claims handlers and be responsible for reviewing incoming claim forms and making decisions on the admissibility of the claim. You will then either, clear the claim for payment, request further information or decline back to the policyholder. There will be occasions where you need to liaise with underwriters to clarify whether cover can be provided. You will be required to receive and respond to telephone calls from customers wishing to make a claim and respond to customers queries quickly and accurately. You will also be required to contact customers and external organisations to obtain information relevant to the claims.

To be successful in the role of Pet Claims Handler, you will need to be a Fully Qualified Veterinary Nurse with a minimum of 1 years veterinary practice experience. You will also need good keyboard and communication skills- both verbal and written.

You will be required to work a 37.5 hour week between the hours of 8 - 6, Monday - Friday on a rota basis.
