The Placement Services Manager role presents an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to lead the Placements function within our new Business Engagement team - working closely with our Schools, Employer Engagement and Placement teams, our Careers services and Employers to grow and develop our Placement offering.
The Placement Services Manager provides management of University Placement provision, ensuring consistency of the student work-placement experience and the assurance of central quality standards. The role has direct line management of the Placement teams operating at our City and Headingley campuses, supports the strategic development of work-related learning, and manages systems provider contracts.
Reporting directly to the Associate Director of Employability, the successful candidate will possess the credibility and professionalism to operate at a senior level with suppliers, employers and academic partners. The successful candidate will have proven leadership qualities enabling them to develop high-performing teams and support strategic development.
The ability to contribute strategically towards graduate employability, together with excellent team management and influencing skills, will be vital to success in the role.
