Fantastic opportunity for an experienced purification scientist seeking a field-based role!
Do you have experience of a range of purification methods including development, scaling and validation? Have you worked in Downstream Processing or a similar area? Do you have a good commercial awareness and excellent communication skills? Are you seeking a field-based customer facing role? Then this could be the role for you!
Using your extensive knowledge of purification processes and supporting analytics (HPLC, ELISA, SDS-PAGE and Spectroscopy) you will assist the post-sales support team with technical troubleshooting, product evaluation and process development. You will travel to customer sites in the UK, Ireland and Mainland Europe as required and handle queries and complaints in an efficient and courteous manner. You will also liaise with internal departments to communicate customer feedback, resolve technical problems and enhance product development.
To be considered for this position you will possess:
- at least 5 years' experience in a downstream processing role or similar
- strong hands-on experience with column chromatography and associated resins
- knowledge of small, pilot scale and large-scale column packing
- knowledge of analytical procedures including HPLC, ELISA, SDS-PAGE and Spectroscopy
- UK driving license
- excellent communication skills
