I am recruiting for an exceptional qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant with outstanding management and organisational skills to undertake the management of a finance shared service centre in Hull. This newly created position offers an excellent base salary and remuneration package in a revitalised and energised city currently enjoying Hull City of Culture 2017.

THE ROLE
-The role will manage the business services finance shared service team covering accounts payable, billing and general accounting to delver agreed transactional, administrative and back office services in a timely, accurate, efficient and cost effective manner in line with service level agreements. It is of particular importance to have the ability to develop a best in class customer service, quality and performance culture
-Provide day to day management of the finance shared service team within business services, maintaining a continuous improvement plan.
-Manage the delivery of services both current and ongoing
-This position offers tremendous scope to challenge, lead, coach and develop a highly skilled team of accounting professionals across accounts payable, credit control, cashiering, billing, project and fixed asset accounting, general accounts processing, management accounts reporting, intercompany reporting, commercial reporting, working capital reporting, indirect tax reporting and statutory reporting

THE CANDIDATE
-The successful candidate will have previous experience of leading and managing a team within a finance shared service environment delivering KPIs. Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) you inspire others to achieve their own personal best and exceed set goals
-You have experience of leading and driving a continuous improvement culture and setting up transitional activities into a finance shared service centre
-You enjoy challenge and are looking to find a role where your understanding and experience of what makes a great team can be used to the best advantage creating a centre of excellence
-First class interpersonal and communication skills are essential both internally and externally, the ability to motivate, manage and exceed expectations while at the same time staying calm in a crisis when the pressure is on!
-You will have excellent analytical, commercial, negotiation and problem solving skills and have a sound knowledge of compliance and audit concepts
-Experience of Lean/6 - Sigma process experience would be ideal

THE BENEFITS:
-GBP70,000 - GBP85,000 + benefits including a car allowance
