Our client, an established Asset Management company based in the heart of the City, are looking for a Product Delivery Manager who has experience of Fund Solutions and managing a small team. This is a fantastic opportuntity to join an established organisation who offer longevity.

The Role

- Maintain effective planning and delivery of transitions as defined in the Product Delivery Model, taking ownership and responsibility for all transition activities
- To manage the requirements from third party service providers as per agreed models and to be the primary contact between the business (eg RMs, Sales etc.) in resolving operational project issues
- Post Implementation Review (PIR)
- Support the Relationship Managers and Sales Teams
- Contribute to the review and scoping of client driven change request requirements at pre-consulting phase.
- Source and process data quickly and accurately, relating and comparing data from different sources, recognising gaps, identifying key issues, securing relevant information and 'making the connection'.
- Operations and Operational Oversight - educating on Product Delivery service and transparency in both directions
- To support the RMs and Sales Teams by successfully managing client take-on, client exits, amendments to existing service provisions and product launches.
- To ensure that strong communication, effective planning and project management processes are in place to manage all parties in the transition and mitigate business risk
- Maintain a high level of accuracy, regularly checking to ensure all details are correct, identifying errors and taking the necessary corrective action promptly according to priority and procedure.
- All submission ready with quality check for the pre-meeting
- Delivery of all Weekly, Monthly dashboards/reports on all transitions including sending out the 'One Transition Log to the wider
- Manage proactively and maintain effective capacity management and forecasting capacity.
- Challenge the normal way of doing things in a positive and constructive way with a view to securing improvements. Share and develop ideas, listening to and consulting with colleagues.
- To assist with team training (in line with transition types and skills grid) on a daily basis to help team members get up to speed and proficient
- Act as a senior point of contact for Product Delivery queries
- Utilise experience to ensure all future procedures and processes are accurately recorded and advised to team

The person

- Graduate, IMC or other appropriate professional qualification
- Must have significant technical knowledge and experience in respect of all aspects of Product Delivery (being defined as new and lost business and internal transfers, including pooled fund transfers).
- A good understanding of the Investment Management Industry and related custodial and pooled fund industries is required.

- The individual is also required to exhibit strong knowledge in respect of all aspects of Operations and Front Office processes; demonstrating the technical knowledge and experience of generic operations systems and processes to intuitively understand the industry best practise way.

- Delivery focused with an ability to work to tight deadlines without compromising the standard of delivery.
- Be technically proficient in the use of Excel, MS Project and Word.
