Children's Senior Support Worker - Full Time - Preston - Up to GBP23,010 Salary

We are recruiting for a number of positions in the Preston area for a successful children's residential organisation. The home is a solo -occupancy unit with a Young Person suffering from EBD. You will support the young person in their day to day lives and empower them to live as independently as possible and assist them to reach their full potential. This is a lone working position.

As the senior, you will assume more responsibility and will assist the manager with the running of the home. You will lead the support workers and will help develop their skills and potential. You will also deputise in the manager's absence. You will also represent your home and the organisation at meetings.

You will complete full days and sleep in shifts, and will work to a rolling rota of either 3 in 3 off or 2 in 3 off. The shift start times do vary and will be either 8am, 9am or 10am and will include 10 sleeps a month.

To apply for this role, you must have the following,

- NVQ Level 3 Children and Young People
- Have extensive, recent experience in Children's Residential Care

You will be offered a salary of up to GBP23,010 depending on the hours you complete, this includes the sleep-in rate which is in line with the living wage. You can take overtime paid at GBP10.50 per hour and can take advantage of the company pension scheme.
