Responsibilities

To provide a quality service to clients covering all aspects of their insurance arrangements within the North American and International Market

Reporting to

North America and International Specialty Division Open Market Manager and/or Administration Director

Tasks

Ensuring high professional standards and continual improvements in service delivery.
Ensuring that the Company's systems, compliance and procedures are followed at all times, in accordance with the company's compliance and procedure manuals.
Taking instructions relating to the provision of insurance cover from clients and Account Executives when appropriate.
Checking formal documents (including, but not limited to, BIDs, Certificates, Endorsements, MRCs, Policies etc.) for accuracy and compliance prior to receipt by clients.
The reviewing of broking files for accuracy, ensuring both compliance procedures and internal procedures are followed at all times.
Preparing MRCs, Certificates, Endorsements and Policies which fully reflect the intent of the Insurance.
Submitting Policy documentation to signing offices (both bureaux and non-bureaux) where required.
Producing debit/credit notes and processing premiums where required.
Handling Signing Office and client queries in respect of both Policy and Premium issues where required.
Ensuring that diary checks (manual and electronic) are maintained.
Maintaining statistical information and reporting as required.
Managing own files as per Procedures Manual.
Support the Open Market Manager with the day to day running of the team.

Experience Required

Minimum 24 months previous experience in a similar role.
High understanding of all London Market procedures.
Knowledge of general insurance and underlying legal principles.
Knowledge of North American and International Business.
Knowledge of the regulatory requirements of general insurance in operation at any time.
Ability to find innovative solutions to technical coverage issues.
Willingness to continue to develop knowledge of products and related issues through formal and informal learning, both internally and externally to the business.

IT Skills Required

High level of keyboard familiarity.
MS Word and MS Excel.
Knowledge of Insurance Databases.
Knowledge of A&S systems.
Knowledge of Impact system.
Outlook and Internet familiarity.
Knowledge of any other internal Division systems where necessary.
Knowledge of LORs system.
