Searching for an Operations Manager to join successful practice in Coventry. The Operations Manager will oversee the Board, Advisors, Paraplanner and the Financial Advisor Support. You will assist with the ongoing administration of financial planning and investment management clients.

This role has the scope to provide depth and experience to the existing financial planning department. To monitor and assist with administration work flow and act as Line Manager for anyone who works with the administration function. To assist with projects on a one off basis and work to improve the departments use of its financial planning system.

You will be responsible for:-

* Checking documentation for accuracy
* Bringing a general FP knowledge to the department in terms of wider expertise to compliment an already solid team
* Looking at quality control within the department
* Working with Paraplanners and Planners to ensure a robust process is followed
* Working with marketing department to standardise and improve quality of material sent out to our clients
* Compliance checking and recording using the new business register
* Attending staff meetings and training to develop relevant knowledge and skills
* Work as team leader in order to meet the annual financial planning targets
* Developing and motivating staff members

You need:-

* Experience within Financial Services
* Handles tasks with thoroughness and accuracy
* Recognises and resolves errors
* Has technical knowledge appropriate to the role, including relevant computer systems, and keeps this knowledge up to date
* Effectively balances priorities to meet agreed deadlines for individual and team work
* Demonstrates flexibility to adapt to changing business needs
* Treats colleagues with professionalism and respect
* Helps build teamwork as team leader and leads by example
* Understands consequences of decisions and follows instructions
* Acknowledges and learns from mistakes

* Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
