They have ambitious plans to build more homes and provide even better choice for their customers and communities.

As Head of Business Improvement, you will provide strong leadership and direction to a high quality business improvement team, delivering comprehensive and innovative business solutions that drive efficiency and deliver improved value for money. You'll provide expertise and resources to ensure that business improvement and transformation projects are delivered on time, on budget and to a high quality. You will also lead on the group's approach to performance management.

Supporting the Commercial Director in building a culture in which high standards of service and performance are expected you will focus on achieving results. You should have a history of delivering value for money by improving processes and performance, exceptional team management skills, the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, including reporting to Executives and Board.

Your conscientious work ethic will ensure that all activities are carried out to the highest standards of integrity and professionalism. You'll be seen as an ambassador for the organisation and you'll develop excellent working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders including the relevant Boards and Committees. Your integral role in the team and the organisation will help ensure that the transformation into a modern, customer-focused business will be assured.

Essentially you must have a relevant professional qualification or substantial relevant experience in a similar role and evidence of continued professional development. Experience of working at a senior level in a business improvement environment with knowledge, experience and understanding of lean quality methodologies and other recognised business improvement techniques.
