Analyst (MI Controller)

An amazing opportunity to work for an independent, privately owned insurance company, providing specialist insurance. This opportunity is for the Analyst (MI Controller) to support the claims operations by providing insightful and accurate management information.

The Analyst (MI Controller) key role and responsibilities will be:

To understand and align with the parent company strategic business plan.
Be able to support continuous review of systems and management information capability to support growth top quality MI across the business.
To participate in the development and control of the MI Suite and support business managers in the interpretation of MI.
To build and maintain a strong relationship with the business leadership team and be the established recognised expert for MI.
Analyse MI data both operational and financial to enable data led decision making, interpreting and presenting findings.
To develop analytical systems to provide both high and low level information.
Undertake statistical analysis in order to spot trends within the business, these will help shape change.
Continuous look to improve the standard and quality of MI provided, deal with ad hoc requests from the business, and work to educate all stakeholders MI requests in order to produce more meaningful and insightful data.
To ensure that all data provided is consistent and accurate.

The minimum requirements for the Analyst (MI Controller) role is:

Extensive data analytics experience
Advanced Excel Knowledge is essential
SQL knowledge and Tableau experience highly beneficial
Strong Business acumen
The ability to liaise with Financial Director, Actuarial and Shareholders on financial results
Excellent written & oral communication skills
Lead by example, demonstrating ability to lead as a change agent.
Robust MI analytics experience preferably within an insurance environment

Eligible for 10% bonus (Sevenoaks office only) dependent on experience and on completion of probation
