The Role - Secondary SEN Teacher
This special school are looking to take on a teacher for the new academic year to teach a class of 7 pupils in KS3 that have varied needs, a majority of the students are on the Autistic Spectrum and have Severe Learning Difficulties. You will be supported by three teaching assistants, one of whom works on a one-to-one basis with a student in the class. Knowledge and previous experience teaching students with ASD and SLD is essential in order for you to take the role on effectively and to be able to hit the ground running from the start. You must be a very enthusiastic and positive SEN teacher that can plan fun and enjoyable lessons for your students, ensuring that all students needs are met at all times.

The School - Secondary SEN School
This SEN school is found in the London borough of Greenwich and is close to two train stations making the school very easily accessible and they also offer parking to staff should you prefer to drive into work. The children that attend this school are aged between 11-19 years and all have an EHCP that could include PMLD, SLD, MLD, ASD, SEMH and more. They strive to offer first class education to their 72 students and have very high expectations for both staff and students. They are based in a purpose-built building that they moved into 7 years ago that offers state of the art facilities including a brand new hydrotherapy pool.
