Our established and highly successful client is seeking a Pensions Administrator to join their team in Haywards Heath.

Purpose of the role

To deliver first class service to customers.
To consistently deliver both a high standard of work and excellent client communication.
To take ownership of the processing of case work and ensure consistently good levels of productivity and quality.
To demonstrate total commitment at all times to the delivery of excellent customer service.
Working within one of the Customer Services teams, you will report to the Team Leader of your team and will play a key role in the delivery of customer service strategy. The delivery of excellent customer service whilst maintaining high levels of quality and productivity will contribute towards the generation of new business and retention of existing business and reduction of complaints.

You will be expected to assist in ensuring the team fully adhere to and follow set procedures which are in place and ensure that all customers contacted receive the highest level of customer service on a consistent basis. It will also be essential that you fully understand what the six TCF outcomes are and how they affect your team.


Contribute to effective two-way communication across your team and other teams.
Contribute towards sharing that best practice in skills and knowledge amongst the team.
Identify areas for personal development.
Ensure that opportunities for continual positive improvement of processes are identified and referred to your Team Leader.
Contribute to an innovative environment both within the team and the Customer Services department as a whole.
Maintain a good knowledge of the phone systems, procedures and processes is developed and maintained.
Help ensure that the whole team meets statutory, regulatory and compliance requirements.
Contribute to the customer service culture drive to ensure high quality standards.
Proactively seek to reduce complaints by identifying gaps in the tools that employees have available to meet customer's needs.
Ability and willingness to communicate with other departments such as sales, compliance, training and coaching.
Ensure a good level of communication is given to clients - adapting the delivery to suit the audience.
Good communication skills.
Develop and maintain an understanding of products, and the way in which we work.
Develop and maintain an understanding of the industry and where our products sit within it.
Develop and maintain an understanding of all processes with the teams.
Develop and maintain an understanding of legislation relating to products and the jurisdictions in which we operate.

Holds basic level industry recognised qualification such as CII CF1 exam (or must be studying towards and will complete it within one year of accepting the role.)

Demonstrable commitment to the improvement of customer service to the benefit of the business.
Demonstrable ability to input data to computer systems.
Proven experience of delivering against challenging targets and service level agreements.
Financial services experience preferable.
Customer service background preferable.
