My client are one of the UKs leading food production companies and are now looking for a Quality Manager to join their team.

Role Responsibility;
- Establish and implement cost effective quality processes to ensure effective laboratory management throughout the company.
- Design, manage and review quality and health and safety management processes and ensure continuous improvement.
- Lead the team to ensure accurate implementation and analysis of agreed standards.
- In depth awareness and implementation of legal requirements and relevant codes of practice- ISO 17025.
- Evaluate and propose continuous improvements on quality management systems.
- Develop and manage continuous improvement systems.
- Lead the team to ensure process activities are compliant with relevant codes of practice- ISO17025.
- Interpret trends and data and advice on corrective action strategy.
- Examines consumer complaints and advice on trends and corrective actions.
- Manage customer requirements- providing information and technical advice.
- Propose ways of improving standards and compliance.
- Ensure safe and appropriate quality production processes.
- Ensure new products and processes comply with the quality management system.
- Reporting on trends and data.
- Give advice based on existing generated data and knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with H&S.

Ideal Candidate;
- Through working knowledge of quality management systems
- Auditor qualification
- Knowledge of H&S requirements in laboratories.
- Degree in Science discipline (or equivalent)- Desirable
- Previous man management experience with direct responsibility for a team- Desirable
- Project management experience- Desirable
