Rethinking the approach to planning and forecasting starting from a digital standpoint, we will shape and disrupt the landscape of digital advertising.

To get us to this point we are looking for an experienced, digitally innovative and driven Biddable Media Manager to join our Marketing Team with the main purpose to run our activation teams across search, affiliate, display and social media. Reporting to the Head of Media, you will be part of the media leadership team alongside our planning teams and will be responsible for the delivery.

Additional key accountabilities and responsibilities of a Billable Media Manager:

- Be the lead in delivering insight lead channel strategies ensuring creativity and innovation is at the heart of the activation team to create a positive media experience for our audience.
- Alongside the PPC manager and our agency, lead the development of our paid search capability with a particular focus on 1st party data, automation, optimisation and reporting tools.
- Lead the development of our display capability alongside the display & paid social media manager with particular focus on data driven programmatic, in house/agency technology platforms, effective tracking and insightful reporting.
- Lead the development of our paid social media capability alongside the display and paid social media manager with particular focus on recruitment, retention and content support.
- Develop a sound and flexible tracking and reporting framework in conjunction with the Web Analytics/Insight team.
- Lead the development of our affiliate capability alongside the affiliate manager with particular focus on recruitment, incrementally for retention, content and tactical campaigns (tenancy, events, promo).
- Take a leadership position to support brand and communication objectives by working closely with the planning and brand teams in implementing innovative solutions across our Digital First brands.
- Be the eyes and ears of the business for digital channels and the wider digital industry to ensure were keeping up to date with developments in digital, spotting opportunities and assessing impact on our brands.
- Be a mentor and subject matter expert to help continually develop the wider team and the business.
- Develop and maintain a positive and strong business relationship with external agencies and ensure they deliver high quality of work to deadlines and within budget.

What the successful Head of Biddable media will need to succeed:

- A strong analytical and digital media background
- Extensive and demonstrable experience within a similar role managing multiple, high value campaigns
- A strong knowledge of PPC, Programmatic and paid search and paid social media is essential
- Fully conversant with the technical needs of the role including Google Adwords, Double Click, Google Analytics etc
- Strong ability of identifying opportunities with a particular focus on ROI
- Results orientated & commercially focussed, with a full understanding of financial implications of campaigns
- The ability to predict future outcomes, effective planning and optimisation decisions.
- Strong communications skills across all levels in the business, using a variety of formats, written, verbal, presentations etc
