Job Setting
A dedicated & passionate Staff Nurse is required to work within a well established nursing home in Oldham, Lancashire. My client offers residential and nursing care for the frail, elderly and mentally infirm, in addition to respite and convalescent care. You will be putting together treatment plans and overseeing a team of care assistants. The successful Staff Nurse will have excellent clinical leadership skills. My client offers ongoing training, and has excellent development opportunities for the right candidate.

This purpose built home has room for up to 85 residents who can enjoy picturesque gardens and a spacious interior including a few conservatories and social areas. Ongoing staff training is one of the reasons a high level of care is maintained throughout the home.

Staff Nurse Skills and responsibilities
Monitoring blood sugar levels and IV
Wound management
Administering oxygen
Putting together treatment plans
Overseeing a team of care assistants
Liaising with GP and multi-disciplinary team

Staff Nurse Requirements
Hold a relevant nursing qualification
