Younger Adults & Elderly - Dementia, Neurological Disorders, Respite Stays & General nursing

Job Setting
My client requires a dedicated Staff Nurse to work within a fully CQC compliant nursing home in Peterlee.

My client provide first-class 24-hour nursing care alongside expert care for people living with dementia in a dedicated Memory Lane Community. They also provide a neurological rehabilitation service for younger adults and cater for respite stays and short breaks. The Memory Lane Community is visited regularly by a consultant psychiatrist and our neurological rehabilitation unit there is a regular visit from a consultant neurologist, a team of physiotherapists and occupational therapist, in addition to the nursing, activities, support and hospitality teams.

Staff Nurse Skills and responsibilities
Monitoring blood sugar levels and IV
Wound management
Administering oxygen
Putting together treatment plans
Overseeing a team of care assistants
Liaising with GP and multi-disciplinary team
