What you'll be doing

Working within our face to face sales team, you'll be responsible for all the recruitment of our new sales team members around the country. We are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic and results-driven recruiter who is used to working in a fast-paced environment. As well as the more traditional methods of recruitment, you'll also need to be creative in reaching a wider pool of people not necessarily looking for their next move.

You will be responsible for attracting, assessing and directly sourcing candidates for our face to face sales teams, managing the complete recruitment life cycle, from writing and placing job adverts, screening candidates, attending interviews and arranging inductions. You need to identify where we can find driven, passionate and personable candidates. It's not just about being reactive; we want you to be forward thinking and create a talent pipeline; looking to reduce impact on our teams by ensuring vacancies are filled quickly.

You will be creative in your approach, analytical with your feedback and possess exceptional people and organisation skills. You will know you have done a good job when you find candidates who stay in the role long term and consistently exceed their sales targets.

Our sales teams are based around the country, from the South West up to the North East, so you will need to travel regularly for interviews, recruitment fairs and other events.

Additionally, you will:

- Look to develop an assessment type centre where we have several candidates to recruit
- Draw up engaging adverts which reflect the brand and attract the right level and quality of applicants
- Ensure we learn from best practice and how other companies do things
- Attend events to speak to other sales people to let them know what Riverford are offering
- Conduct telephone screening and travel to interviews with candidates

Skills & experience

- You will have recruitment experience or perhaps just sales experience
- You'll drive and take ownership over the recruitment of the sales teams across the country
- You'll need to be creative about finding the right people and trying new ideas, finding lower cost methods where we can
- Advertising via appropriate mediums including job boards and social media
- Managing candidates through the whole recruitment process, from taking initial enquires through to induction
- Super organised and able to juggle different priorities

- Self-motivated, result driven
- Ability to work collaboratively and roll up your sleeves, get out on the road, and do whatever is needed to make things happen
- You will need a full, valid driving licence
