Charge Nurse ( RMN / RNLD ) - Learning Disabilities

Service Type: Learning Disability Hospital

Location: Hartlepool

Salary: GBP15.71 - GBP17.87 per hour (GBP32,000 - GBP37,000 per annum) - negotiable depending on experience

Hours: Full Time Contract, 40 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

Service Details / Job Description:

Appoint Group are working with a well-established private healthcare company as they seek to recruit an experienced Charge Nurse to join their team. This role will be working within a hospital for learning disabilities and complex needs, based in the Hartlepool area.

The Charge Nurse role involves providing care to service users whilst also maintaining key working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, i.e. the nursing team, management team and also family members.

The Charge Nurse will also contribute to the leadership of the service, whilst also working to promote a positive and enjoyable working environment. Nurses within the team are very compassionate and dedicated, it is crucial that the Charge Nurse hold the same values.

Person Specification:

Applicants should be qualified to practice as a nurse ( RMN / RNLD ) within the UK. Applicants must therefore hold a valid PIN and be eligible to live and work in the UK without the need for sponsorship.

Further skills/experience required are as follows;

- You would need to be a compassionate, understanding and trustworthy

- Previous experience would be beneficial
