Charge Nurse ( RMN / RNLD ) - Learning Disabilities

Service Type: Learning Disability Hospital

Location: Birmingham

Salary: GBP15.71 - GBP17.87 per hour (GBP32,000 - GBP37,000 per annum) - negotiable depending on experience

Hours: Full Time Contract, 40 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

Service Details / Job Description:

Appoint Group are working with a well-established private healthcare company as they recruit newly qualified or experienced nurses. This role is working within one of their residential services based in Birmingham. This is a small service with 8 beds, offering bespoke and individual care.

Nurses working within this service benefit from a friendly working environment, where the team are compassionate, trustworthy and resilient but most importantly, put the service user at the centre of all they do. The service have a joint goal to make a positive difference and nurses applying for this role should share the same passion.

Residents are adults with a Learning Disability and complex needs including people who have additional mental health problems and behaviours that challenge services. The service accepts referrals from people who may need nursing care support, people who may be stepping down from hospital provision, or are on a journey towards a place of their own.

Person Specification:

Applicants should be qualified to practice as a nurse ( RMN / RNLD ) within the UK. Applicants must therefore hold a valid PIN and be eligible to live and work in the UK without the need for sponsorship.

Further skills/experience required are as follows;

- You would need to be a compassionate, understanding and trustworthy

- Previous experience would be beneficial
