As Deputy Principal Corporate Resources are you ready to join the team making a difference at Waltham Forest College?

Waltham Forest College seeks a Deputy Principal Corporate Resources, a Senior Post Holder appointment, to succeed the retiring Finance Director in leading the College's Finances, Estates, HR, ICT and MIS to an exciting, and independent future.

The College has long had a reputation for serving a diverse local community, and putting the learner first! It is a community and business-led College, with a diverse portfolio of GFE courses, and some speciality provision such as Butchery and Fashion & Textiles amongst the jewels in its crown. The College operates an excellent estate and infrastructure with significant investment in its student and vocational spaces, including new STEM and Creative Industries Centres, ensuring the College is fit-for-purpose.

You will be an ambitious CCAB-qualified Accountant, looking for this opportunity to shape a new role. As Deputy Principal Corporate Resources, you will strategically lead capable Finance, Estates, HR, ICT and MIS team(s) ensuring that the out-of-class experience for each of our students is as positive as the curriculum one. You may already be an established Finance Director or VP (Finance) looking to move to a SPH role, or an aspirational Financial Controller/Manager looking for the next step.

Our unique and iconic building with its modern facilities is at the heart of the vibrant and creative community of Waltham Forest and adjacent to the green spaces of Epping Forest.
In return, we offer a progressive market rate salary package, a supportive Principal and Board of Governors, underpinned by superb staff and students who share our pride in and commitment to the College and its community.

Closing date: Monday 25th September 2017 at 9am
Our Assessment Centre is scheduled for 5th and 6th October
