Investment Administrator (Part-Time)


We are a boutique Discretionary Investment Management firm based in Richmond, Surrey.  Established in 2009 by a group of experienced investment professionals, we provide discretionary investment management for families, trusts, and charities both in the UK and offshore.

We are looking for an experienced Investment Administrator to join our growing team.  The broad role will see you work on various investment administration, client support and general tasks.


       1.  Client Service

  • Provide high level support to both Intermediaries and Clients, including handling day to day queries
  • Complete administration functions including setting up new client accounts, arranging client payments, sending out client documentation
  • Maintain client files and records

       2.  Investment Administration

  • Daily client portfolio reconciliation, including investigation of any reconciliation breaks and resolving these in a timely fashion
  • Trade reconciliation, including matching contract notes
  • Oversee the on-boarding of new clients and the transfer of assets to our Custodian
  • Liaise with our Custodian regarding queries on pricing, dividends and corporate actions
  • Prepare relevant investment reports for client meetings
  • Manage the distribution of quarterly and half-yearly client investment reports
  • Manage the distribution of client annual tax statements


Essential Requirements

  • Previous administration experience within the financial services industry
  • High level of attention to detail, with strong analytical skills
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks in an often deadline driven environment
  • Competent in using Microsoft Office, with an intermediate level of proficiency with Word and Excel

Location:           Richmond, Surrey

Salary:               Dependent on experience, circa £27,000 pro-rata

Hours:                Flexible, approximately 20 – 25 hours per week (over 4-5 days)
