Our national based client, is a market leader within apprenticeship training provision. They have a large client base spanning across the logistics, facilities and legal sectors.

This role will sit predominantly within the logistics sector and will require multi site working. Due to the nature of the sector, learning will need to be delivered within the shift patterns your learners are working on. You will have up to 45 students within your portfolio who will require multi delivery learning techniques such as eLearning, webinars, classroom, one two one and group sessions.

Please note due to the nature of this role all prospective candidates will be subject to a DBS check.

The purpose of the role is to support and assess learners working towards Apprenticeship Standards and Functional Skills, ensuring they meet the occupational standards needed to achieve; and deliver the programme within the clients brief.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to -

•Planning and delivering training programmes and workshops
•Observation of learners in their workplace
•Examination and marking of Learners portfolios of evidence
•Preparation of learners for their Assessment
• Question Learners to assess how they would deal with non-standard situations
• Provision of feedback and advise if standards are not met
• Sign off the qualification when all the requirements have been met ready for final Internal Quality Assurance (IQA)
• Maintain records of Learner progress, according to the requirements of the Awarding Organisations and Apprenticeship Assessment Organisation (AAO)
• Attend standardisation meetings
• Preparation of management information
• Working with the quality framework and improvement plans
• Effective teamwork
• Liaison, co-ordination and development
• Safeguarding of Learners
• Business focused self development

The ideal candidate will have -


• Recognised qualification in management at Level 5 or above
• Experience of management at a senior level (minimum 3 years' experience)
• Proficient in Microsoft office software or equivalent
• Good standard of school education (minimum C in 5 GCSE's including Maths and English)

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Functional Skills at Level 2 in Numeracy and Literacy (or equivalent)
• Teaching qualification
• Full clean driving licence with sole access to a vehicle for work
• Assessment qualification e.g. TAQA
• Demonstrable understanding of the funding rules of Adult Education Budget/ Apprenticeships
• Experience of using eLearning monitoring systems e.g. Etrack
• Able to effectively prioritise work to meet business needs, take responsibility for own workload and organise effectively
• Capable presenter
• Excellent relationship building skills
• Proven customer service skills
• Excellent organisational skills


• Salary dependant on experience - Circa GBP26,500 to GBP29,000
