REGISTERED CARE MANAGER - LEADING FRANCHISEE - HEALTHCARE -NORTHWICH
GBP30,000 - GBP35,000 + (DOE) Basic + PACKAGE + 28 days holiday
The Company
The client is one of the UK's leading independent care providers within the healthcare industry, who solely provide care to the client in their own home, promoting independence and stability. The branch I am recruiting for a Registered Manager, mainly supply care and support to the Elderly within the area, some of which suffer from dementia and Alzheimer's as well as younger adults with MS (multiple sclerosis) and physical disability. They are looking for a hard-working manager to hold registration and to take the business to the next stage.
Responsibilities
As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for:

* Managing the day to day running of the branch operations
* Ensuring compliance with the standards of Quality and Safety and adhere to the Health and Social Care act 2008
* Acting in the best interest of the clients supported
* Ensuring implementation of systems to monitor quality performance
* Involvement in networking activities and business development and provide directors with regular reports and analysis
* Ensuring all client visits are covered and all scheduling is completed in advance of shifts
* Ensuring that the business maintains 24hr availability via on call rota
* Management of all care processes from initial contact, while maintaining agreed standards
* Recruitment processes, checking ID and eligibility to work and hiring decisions
* Retention of all staff, including meetings, incentives, appraisals, performance feedback and gifts (eg birthdays, Easter)
* Introductions and Training of new care staff and current staff, maintenance of all staff training records and keeping up to date with all legislation
* Service calls (eg. Information giving, risk assessment and service agreement signing)
* Quality assurance via regular QA visits, telephone calls and H&S reviews
* Ensure all complaints are appropriately reported and responded to within the time scale set
* Ensure understanding of and can evidence compliance with CQC
* Ensuring confidentiality and staff are aware of the importance of confidentially

The Candidate

* MUST have a full UK driving licence
* MUST have NVQ 3 or be willing to work towards
* MUST have experience at manager level in care
* MUST have basic IT skills
* MUST be available to work weekends and evenings
