The Role:

• Manage a portfolio of licensors and license contracts in EMEA & Asia
• Manage all relevant license account financial reporting - business planning, forecasting and royalty reports
• Seek out, negotiate and close profitable Licensing contracts.
• Support the approvals and creative design process for all relevant license accounts
• Support the sales team across in order to maximise sales of these Licenses
• Account management and maintenance of existing and new license relationships- managing key licensor processes from contract stage to product on shelf plus ongoing maintenance.
• Engaging and relationship building with all Licensor stakeholders at every level from account contact to Senior Management. Come up with strategies for communication with the different stakeholders to ensure that the company is always their preferred partner.
• Turnaround low performing license accounts- thinking of every avenue for sales and influencing key stakeholders to support in this.
• Championing own license accounts as an expert to come to for all NPD/ Design/ Approvals or contractual queries.
• Contract management of all relevant license accounts including contract negotiation, proof reading, overseeing of all contractual requirements- ensuring that Sales, Design and NPD across all territories are in compliance with contractual standards.
• Management and understanding of all own account financial performance- quarterly and annual forecasting, royalty reporting, quarterly royalty budgets, sales analysis, royalty write off & strategies and execution for combating poor performance.
• Understand the approvals process, keeping informed of current approvals status on all account products and manage any approvals issues with Licensors when necessary.
• Negotiate both license renewals and prospect and grow new opportunities to achieve best for contract terms and profitability.
• Represent license department in all relevant License trade events, presentations, meetings and forums- networking with the License industry.
• Support the License team to analyse and target future license opportunities.
• Understand all territories- retail environment, competitive environment, preferred licenses and territory specific product types in order to achieve best fit License portfolio.
• Support the International Licensing Manager in managing the license process.
• Internally selling all Licenses to all sales teams Globally- ensuring they are bought in and supplying them with all supportive information that they need for sell-in

The Person:

• Educated to degree level, preferably in a business related discipline
• At least 3 years' experience in Sales or Marketing and preferably in FMCG.
• Extremely commercial- prior experience in business planning, performance tracking, account management, database management and process flow.
• Proven examples of Pitching, Negotiating and closing multiples deals.
• Proven examples of managing multiple accounts successfully.
• Excel and PowerPoint skills essential.
• Proactive, hardworking, highly organised, bright and ambitious team player.
