Overall purpose of role
• Provide analysis, requirements definition and change management skills in support of regulatory change programmes required to ensure that the the bank complies with new or amended regulatory, risk and control requirements, including:
• Conducting traceability mapping & requirements analysis between regulations, rules, requirements and solution to provide an auditable view of how the bank is complying with the regulations.
• Designing changes to existing operating models and processes to ensure regulatory change requirements are incorporated whilst ensuring end to end bank processes are optimised.
• Support implementation and execution of re-designed/ engineered processes to BAU to ensure regulatory change requirements are embedded in the bank
• Support User Acceptance Testing
• Interface with multiple stakeholders across legal, compliance and technology to develop appropriate requirements, processes and solutions
• Developing procedures & processes for operational readiness
• Developing Regulatory Requirements in alignment with regulatory rules

Key Accountabilities
• Use appropriate business analysis and change techniques to work with the business and technology teams to analyse and implement change to support regulatory requirements
• Document the regulatory change requirements and facilitate business, internal IT and external suppliers' teams understanding of those requirements
• Understand the impact of regulatory requirements on the banks processes and the business areas that use them and develop operating model designs and processes that implement the requirements in an optimal way from a client experience, process & cost efficiency perspective.
• Support the lead BA in validate technology designs and solutions against business requirements and complete appropriate traceability
• Assist in preparation of test scenarios and test scripts where appropriate
• Liaise with project managers, designers and development teams (on-site and off-shore) to ensure that projects in progress are developed to deliver the regulatory change requirements.
• Prepare agreed deliverables in line with standards, to meet agreed quality standards and timelines
• Contribute to the development of business analysis, change management tools, techniques, standards and methodologies to improve their efficiency and effectiveness.

Stakeholder Management and Leadership
• Influence with a wide-ranging audience across front-line, back office and central support areas to gain buy-in to design requirements and development plans.
• Support the lead BA in facilitating project workshops, engaging stakeholders, subject matter experts and attendees at all levels
• Support in the management of key stakeholders across the bank and the wider Group
• Maintaining awareness of business process development and change throughout the business.
• Effectively manage the impact of planned change on those processes and the business areas affected by that change
• Understand the banks Group processes & policies and ensure adherence to them

Risk and Control Objective
All colleagues have to ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Policies and Policy Standards

Person Specification
• Must be pro-active, self-starter, able to manage own work to deliver to agreed deadlines without close supervision
• Must be very good with time management and multi-tasking given the nature of work involved within Regulatory Developments and the require experience to work through an unstructured environment.
• An ideal candidate would be someone who is keen to learn and has a genuine interest in reading and understanding the regulatory requirements.
• The candidate would have sufficient business, product and financial regulatory knowledge to be able to assess regulations for the banks impact.

• Understanding of full project lifecycle including traceability
• Visio, Word, Excel etc
• Ability to demonstrate experience of working for or closely with an IT, Transformation or Change department
• Appreciation of the implications of change on organisations
• Proven Communication skills (written & verbal)
• Experience in various analysis techniques e.g. SSADM, Agile

• Knowledge of complex Financial Services environments;
• Understanding of financial regulatory environment,
• Experience working with compliance and legal professionals

Experience, Qualifications & Other Requirements Specific To The Role

• Educated to degree to be able to meet the intellectual demands of the job, or can demonstrate equivalent experience;
• Knowledge/formal training in business an alysis and change management techniques

• Personal and professional development of self,
• Experience in developing and delivering executive level presentations
• Knowledge/formal training in formal traceability methodologies and practices
• Knowledge/formal training in regulation interpretation and impact assessment
