Exciting opportunity to join an international charity in their ambitious Philanthropy and Partnerships Team (Trusts & Grants) to build excellent and profitable, long-term fundraising relationships with a diverse portfolio of high value trust donors. The role will test and develop a range of traditional and new marketing techniques, appeals and approaches and will complement these with cultivation and stewardship activities, learning what works and adapting the programme accordingly. The High Value fundraising targets charitable trusts with the potential to give GBP1k-GBP5k. Future plans are to target donors supporting at the GBP1k-10k level to generate increased income and support the 5 year fundraising strategy.
Your duties will include; generate income from High Value Trust donors, manage a diverse portfolio of High Value Trust Donors, testing and developing a range of traditional and new marketing techniques, appeals and products, face to face cultivation and stewardship activities, provide monthly, quarterly and annual reports, ensure all High Value Trust donors are thanked promptly and attend events and act as ambassador.
You will have demonstrable experience of achieving fundraising targets and generating income from High Value donors, proven relationship experience via all channels (email, phone and face to face), ability to produce written appeals, reports and proposals, excellent research and analytical skills.
