Senior Social Worker (Transitional Disability Team)
There has never been a more exciting time to join our clients Transition Services for young people as they embrace the changes in the Children's, Adult and Education Legislation. They are currently reviewing their service to implement these changes and are looking for an experienced Senior Social Worker to join their team at this exciting time.
The team works with a cohort of young people in the 14 - 25 age Group helping young people with complex disabilities transition into adults services.
To be considered for this position you will need to be motivated and flexible with high professional standards and sound knowledge and experience of current legislation and its application to practice in a social care setting.
An applied knowledge of The Mental Capacity Act and experience of undertaking safeguarding enquiries is essential alongside experience of working in complex situations using professional judgement and a range of interventions.
You will have experience of, and be able to provide, professional, reflective supervision, guidance and advice to less experienced social workers, including those completing ASYE and social work students.
