This role is essential in ensuring that that all assigned technology projects are scoped, specified, approved, designed and delivered within the timescales, and to the quality expected and defined by the charity.

You'll be responsible for everything, from the day-to-day delivery of multiple projects, to cost, quality and time for all technology or business projects and work packages assigned to you. Examples of the projects managed by the IT Projects team are: Unified Communications, O365, Windows 10, lifeboat stations technology refresh or managing the IT work stream of CRM and Intranet projects.

To be considered, you will need:

- Previous experience of delivering projects in both Waterfall and Agile delivery methods
- A project management certification
- A degree level qualification

Our client is looking for an IT Project Manager who strives to make their project team as cohesive as possible in order to deliver an excellent service to the business. With excellent communication and motivation skills, you will have the ability to resolve project issues and mitigate risks, making the appropriate recommendations in order to maximise the benefits of projects and programmes to our client's amazing, lifesaving service.

Ideally, you'll have an Agile project management certification, but this is by no means essential.

If you are a dynamic and highly experienced end-to-end IT Project Manager who really wants to make a difference - apply today!

Please note, previous applicants need not apply.

Our client's staff and volunteers have been saving lives at sea without prejudice for nearly 200 years. They respect and value diversity of background, skills and perspectives within their teams, and consider it essential to help them deliver a world-class lifesaving service. They are an inclusive organisation and welcome applications from everyone. In addition to having the skills needed for the role, they also look for applicants who share their commitment to living their values (trustworthy, courageous, selfless, and dependable), and helping work towards their goals of halving drowning in the UK and Ireland by 2024. This involves a growing commitment to preventative action, using expertise to work in partnership with communities locally, nationally and internationally to prevent drowning.
