Step teachers are a local Plymouth based teaching agency who have long standing relationships with Primary schools across Plymouth and surrounding areas. We are looking for supply teachers to join our team.

We are currently looking to recruit Key Stage 1 Primary supply teachers to work in day to day, short term and long term vacancies in numerous schools. Supply teaching can fit around you. Even if you're only free a couple of days a week we can help you.

As a supply teacher you will;

Hold QTS or a relevant teaching qualification
Have recent classroom based teaching experience

What we do;

Operate an open door policy for our supply teachers and schools. (We love biscuits and an excuse to eat them with a cup of tea!)
Have termly drink evenings to thank all of our teachers.
Listen to what you want and place you in school settings that suit you, and in areas you want to work in.
Provide CPD opportunities.

If you are on the DBS update service there is no charge to join our agency, if you are not on the update service we just charge GBP50 to process a new DBS with no further admin fees. To register all we need to do is meet you and take you through our vetting procedure. We've been operating in Plymouth for over 15 years and are proud to be Plymouth's favourite teaching agency. Feel free to give us a call on (Apply online only). We would love to chat to you about how we can help you get into supply teaching or find you your ideal permanent job.

For details of all our opportunities and for information on how to register with Step Teachers, visit our website or follow us on Twitter or Facebook.

Our objective is to be an equal opportunities employer and we welcome applications from everyone with suitable skills and ability regardless of race, colour, nationality, ethnic or national origin, gender, disability, sexual orientation, age, religion or belief.
