A highly ethical, child focused fostering agency are looking for two home based and experienced part time supervising social workers to support a small but stable carer group across the East regions covering Norfolk / Suffolk / Cambridge and Peterborough.

This role is a job share for 2.5 days per week.

This not for profit agency has extremely high integrity and are very proud of their quality and ethical stance within fostering, re investing all income in to the fantastic service they provide to carers and the young people in their care.

Over view of responsibilities:

  • Supporting a manageable carer caseload
  • Supervision of carers
  • Carer reviews
  • Recruitment of prospective foster carers
  • Completion of the occasional Form F with presentation to panel

You will be / have:

  • A qualified social worker
  • HCPC registered
  • Significant post qualifying experience within fostering social work, either from a Local Authority or the independent sector
  • Ideally additional front line / safeguarding social work experience
  • Highly child and outcome focused
  • A car owner / driver
  • Be prepared to travel across the region
