Aurora Resourcing are proudly assisting a child focused and ever improving Childrens Service to find them a Child Protection Chair and IRO.

We have a great opportunity for an Experienced Childrens Social Worker to join this forward thinking Local Authority and help them to build a better future for looked after children. The service are concentrating on building a transparent Service where they work with their children and their families and not 'do to them'. They want change that can be achieved by children and families for themselves with the support they need.

The IRO and CP Chair Service is not afraid of having difficult conversations which challenge practice and the behaviours of professionals, families and young people.

This role can offer you the opportunity of a well-paid return from Management to Creative Practice. You will be working directly and innovatively with Children and their Families to make the changes that they say will make a real difference.

The position suit a social worker at a Team Manager level and ideally you will have management experience.

You must be/have:

  • HCPC Registered
  • Have sufficient post qualified experience within Childrens Services
  • Have management experience of a Childrens Service
  • Have excellent communication skills.
