IPS Employment Service Manager (Primary Care)
Having acquired funding for a specialist Employability service, the charity is currently going through an exciting period of change, and are therefore looking to recruit an Employment Service Manager to lead their primary care team.
Our client supports people with severe and common mental health problems to achieve paid, competitive employment in a fulfilling, sustainable way by deploying the evidence based Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model. As their Employment Service Manager, you will work in partnership with their local NHS Trust to ensure that their specialist service is fully integrated and that it runs smoothly including maximising referral flow and pathways. You will be responsible for leading a team of specialist Caseworkers and Job Retention Workers, and will oversee the delivery of the service, ensuring that all contractual requirements are met and service users are receiving a person-centred service. Managing a small caseload of clients, you will make sure that opportunities available to them are maximised through effective partnership working with internal and external stakeholders.
To be successful, you will have significant experience of service development and/or project management combined with practical knowledge of supporting people with mental health issues in an employability setting. In addition, you will possess demonstrable experience of managing a team of specialist staff and have the ability to work with multiple agencies including employers, JCP and health professionals. Finally, knowledge and/or experience of the IPS model is ideal as is an NVQ Level 2/3 in advice and guidance.
