This is a full time field based role Monday to Friday

Are you a Staff Nurse or Practice Nurse with a passion for chronic respiratory disease management and experience in the fields of Asthma &/or COPD?
Our client is an independent service provider working closely with the NHS and Pharmaceutical Industry. Their specialist Nurse Advisors help improve patient outcomes and are experts across a broad range of chronic disease areas including asthma, COPD and Diabetes. They help healthcare professionals deliver the most up to date care for patients, and have designed and delivered nursing services to over 10,500 GP Practices in the UK.
Their Nurses provide high levels of service, commitment, expertise and experience. They have an in-depth understanding of national asthma treatment guidelines and how to implement them in Primary Care. You will join a national team of Respiratory Nurses who are passionate about helping improve asthma care in the GP Surgeries they work in partnership with.
This role is field based and you will be working with GP Practices throughout the territory.
You will manage your own diary and schedule introduction meetings, audit, clinical reviews and project feedback sessions with each Surgery you work with. You will help Practices identify target patients with chronic respiratory conditions and carry out patient review clinics. You will also deliver training sessions to Practice Nurses on updates in the field of Asthma.

To be considered for this specialist role you will meet the following criteria;
- Registered Nurse Level 1 with active and current NMC Registration
- Asthma or COPD Diploma and other Post Graduate Respiratory Qualifications would be an advantage but not essential
- Previous Practice Nurse experience is ideal
- Considerable experience managing patients with chronic respiratory disease including asthma & COPD. You will have run spirometry assessments and be confident interpreting results as well as assessing and managing patients, ideally in primary care.
- Confident communicator
- Current UK Full Driving Licence with a maximum of 6 penalty points
- Looking for a field based role where you manage your own work load across a geographical area
