Help Manage and Develop a MASH Service

A London based Local Authority is looking to take on an experienced Team Manager to help develop their MASH service. The MASH is currently working across Children's services, however the Local Authority are looking to further expand the MASH to incorporate other areas. They are also looking to improve the working synergy between all agencies and are also taking on an additional number of police officers.

This is an excellent opportunity to help support the development of the service. Currently the Social Work team is fully staffed and well established; there are a number of locums in the team, however this number is decreasing as the Authority are taking proactive steps at increasing the number of permanent social workers throughout Children's services.

The MASH service is headed up by an extremely experienced Head of Service who is a permanent member of staff and very supportive. They are a well established member of the Local Authority and are very approachable. You will receive the full support of your manager as well as be given the autonomy to drive changes within the service.

To be considered for this post you should have experience of managing a MASH or Assessment service.
