Qualified Social Worker - Family Safeguarding Team - Hertfordshire
Amicus Recruit are looking for a Qualified Social Worker to join a Family Safeguarding Team based in Hertfordshire.
Within this role you will be working closely with families who are subject to Child Protection plans, Child in Need plans and working under the Public Law Outline. You will need to have knowledge of Child Protection and able to assess risk.
Apart of the role is to carry out parenting assessments, C&F assessments, viability assessments, working directly with children and parents as well as arranging and attending core groups CIN reviews, reviewing CP conferences, completing pre-meeting reports, undertaking home visits announced and unannounced and working closely with outside agencies and within their multi agency team.
The current caseloads are between 10-15. It is hoped that the average would top up to 12 with a full team.
GBP28 p/h Ltd. Initial assignment is for 3 months with the view to extend.
Minimum of two years' experience of direct working with children and families.
DBS which can be provided by us unless, you are on the DBS update service.
