Philanthropy Manager - Major Donors

Circa GBP35,000 (doe) plus benefits and flexible working

Full time post based in Central London

The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the only UK-wide charity making a daily difference to the lives of people with cystic fibrosis, and those who care for them. We invest in cutting-edge research, drive up standards of clinical care, offer support for everyone affected by cystic fibrosis, and campaign hard on the issue that matter.

Cystic fibrosis is chronically misunderstood, kills thousands worldwide and is carried unknowingly in the genes of millions. We're here to beat it.

Putting people with cystic fibrosis at the centre of everything we do is key to helping us beat the condition for good, and doing this is a challenge that you'll relish.

Sitting within the Philanthropy Team, you will work closely with the Head of Philanthropy and Senior Philanthropy Manager (Major Donors) to deliver ambitious growth through delivery of income from major donors. You will have experience of securing at least five figure gifts, liaising externally and internally at all levels. You will also be experienced in delivering high impact stewardship programmes and high value events, and enjoy the challenge of motivating and inspiring people to support the cause.

There is huge scope for growth within this area, and you will be target oriented while able to retain sight of the big picture. You enjoy and thrive on developing relationships with supporters and delivering exceptional stewardship to make each and every one feel special. You also have a strong understanding of the changing legal frameworks within which fundraisers operate, and know how relationships with major donors may be affected.

If this is for you, we would love to hear from you. Please click on the link to find more information on the role and on how to apply.

Closing date for completed applications will be Friday 6 October 2017 at 5 pm.
