Head of Procurement
Being Head of Procurement at St Mungo's is an opportunity to lead, develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy that will make a real difference, achieving value for money, savings and other measurable benefits for vulnerable and homeless people.
You will be responsible for a broad range of procurement activities, from managing a small procurement team, to providing proactive support and advice to the organisation, overseeing the governance of our procurement practices, and leading the procurement of key contracts and services, proposing the most appropriate routes to market.
You will be able to think strategically about how procurement can provide the most value to the organisation and help us manage risks while also delivering multiple procurement activities. A problem solving approach to working within good procurement practices while meeting the day to day operational needs of the business is key.
If you are a qualified MCIPS professional with a strong background in procurement who has won an organisation round to the benefits of good procurement then this is a fantastic opportunity to join the team.
