UWE Bristol is embarking on some significant change programmes that will transform our student and staff experiences. To take us on this journey we are looking to enhance our Programme Delivery capability with some new and exciting Programme Management roles that are closely allied to our strategic objectives.

UWE is well set up for strategic change with an established Strategic Programmes Office (SPO) reporting directly to our directorate team. Our success means that the team is growing and we need to invest in our leadership capability. Consequently, an exciting element of these roles will be the opportunity to build and enhance the capability of the SPO's leadership and that of the wider organisation to deliver change more effectively. This will include opportunities to enhance and influence established programmes and projects and to be involved in the early stages of the change process.

Key areas include:

•Learning and teaching including learning environments
•Enhancing the Student and Staff experiences
•Transformation of service delivery across the elements of people, processes and systems supporting the full lifecycle of the student journey
•Engagement and Customer Relationship Management
•Digital transformation

Reporting to the Director of the SPO, successful candidates will demonstrate their ability to engage successfully with transformational change, have very strong programme and project management experience and an ability to influence and engage stakeholders across the whole organisation. Key to the success of applicants will be their demonstrable ability to work alongside educational and service professionals building strong relationships, to think and act strategically, lead change successfully, be personally effective, act with integrity and build trust.

Knowledge and/or experience of Target Operating Models and Business Architecture will be of interest as UWE is introducing and developing this approach to strategy and change. Line management of staff within the service will be an important element of the roles so your ability to manage and develop people will be also be essential.

In return, UWE Bristol offers a challenging, exciting and inclusive working environment with great colleagues.

In addition to a competitive salary enhanced by an excellent pension scheme, with life cover, we offer:
•a generous holiday allowance of 27 days
•up to 12.5 bank holiday/closure days per year in addition;
•flexible working and work/life balance;
•option to participate in the cycle to work scheme;
•family friendly policies;
•option to purchase childcare vouchers.

It is proposed to hold the interviews during November 2017, and it would be helpful if applicants could provide details of when they are not available during that period.
