The University is providing an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to join us in the next phase of our development, moving towards the next REF. We are seeking to appoint an academic who will devote their time, energy and enthusiasm equally between research and teaching. This is a permanent academic appointment to Senior Lecturer.

You will work in the Department of Health and Social Science (HSS) and collaborate with the Social Science Research Groups. You will focus on delivering excellent research, as well as teaching and supporting students on undergraduate and postgraduate sociology as well as Criminology programmes.

You will be able to demonstrate competence in social research - evident from a strong publication profile.
