Our client has a Payroll team of 4 and due to expansion need an additional Payroll Officer to join their team.

Your new company are a National UK based company who have offices throughout the UK. Your new office has parking immediately outside and is also close to the transport links, it has a terrace area to eat your lunch where the CEO does barbeques and newly modernised offices with lots of windows and light.

As a Payroll Officer your duties would include:

* Assisting the payroll department for a weekly payroll for temporary workers and a monthly payroll
* Updating and maintaining payroll records
* Processing documentation for new starters and leavers
* Setting up new clients
* SMP, SSP, P45s, P60s, P11Ds
* Pensions admin
* Liaising with workers and government bodies with earnings enquiries and attachment of earnings orders
* Processing both manual and holiday payments
* Dealing with queries

As the successful candidate you will have:

* Previous Payroll experience
* Strong interpersonal and organisational skills, with keen eye to detail
* Self motivation and the ability to adapt to the new role requirements with ease
* Proactive and flexible approach, with a willingness to undertake all tasks required of the role
* Professional telephone manner
* The ability to multi-task
* A good general knowledge of all payroll aspects

In return you will receive 20 days annual leave which increases to 25 days after 2 years service, a contributory pension and company healthcare scheme. Our client also celebrates birthdays in the office if you wish with a lunch out or cakes in the office!
