Part Time Bookkeeper/Office Administrator

Berkhamsted

GBP13-GBP14 per hour

We are looking for an experienced bookkeeper to join our friendly company in Berkhamsted. You will also be doing general office admin duties. They are looking for someone for a maximum 21 hours per week and are flexible on how this can be split.

The role:

  • Raise Sales Invoices, process timesheets & invoice, invoices for contracts, back-ups, mailboxes, antivirus etc
  • Bank accounts & petty cash
  • Deal with Purchases - check P92 timesheets, Message Stream, Continuum
  • Payments
  • Expense claims
  • Pensions
  • Monthly management figures & reports
  • VAT returns
  • Annual accounts & liaising with Accountant
  • Maintain staff records - holiday and sickness
  • Check and write staff policies
  • Check for health and safety legislation changes
  • General administration duties

Requirements:

  • Experienced bookkeeper and ideally experience of doing month end accounts
  • Well spoken and presentable
  • Excellent all round administration skills
  • Experience of Xero would be beneficial but not a must
