We are looking for an experienced project manager with a proven record of driving progress in a complex organisation with multiple stakeholders, tight timelines and limited budgets. You will be extremely organised with excellent attention to detail, working very well under pressure and able to move between different tasks with ease.
You will have solid experience of managing and delivering events to a business audience, and will be able to demonstrate successful collaboration with colleagues and suppliers. You will build positive relationships in order to meet programme aims. You will have good knowledge of communications and marketing in order to work with colleagues to promote programmes, generate interest and respond to customer needs. You will be structured and clear in your thinking and communication, and a pro-active problem solver.
You will be responsible for delivering programmes that inspire and celebrate responsible business practices. Your primary focus areas will be:
- Delivery of the prestigious and high-profile Lord Mayor's Dragon Awards, an annual awards scheme which recognises businesses that have an exemplary social impact. This will include but not be limited to responsibility for: generating applications, advising businesses, managing stakeholders, developing collateral, facilitating workshops, managing suppliers, delivering events and measuring impact.
- Coordination of an exclusive learning programme for business leaders, which will explore the emerging social, economic and political issues that are of significance to business's changing role in society through a series of events.
