Job Title: Web Content Writer and Social Media Coordinator

Do you have a BSc/BA in Life Science or a Ph.D. in Life Science? Do you have an understanding / familiarity with antibodies? Do you have working knowledge / familiarity of MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)? Do you have strong written / oral communication and presentation skills? Job Description:

The web content writer and social media coordinator will produce short and long scientific copy for various digital marketing channels belonging to the Antibody Content Division. He or she will own the social media and blog channels and be tasked with developing the strategy to drive their engagement. He or she will also serve as scientific support for the creation, maintenance or improvement of apps and tools on the antibody website. The ideal candidate is a life science PhD with a demonstrable flair for writing engaging, technically accurate copy, and an interest in social media. Training on the website's content management system, apps and tools will be provided.

Writing:

* Author long-form and short-form technical content for (url removed) and for marketing campaigns as requested by stakeholders.
* Create regular content for the Antibody Content Division's blog channel in line with key business focus areas.
* Prepare content for internal newsletters or web portals.
* Assist with ad hoc authoring, editing and proofreading tasks.

Social media:

* Develop and implement the Antibody Content Division's social media strategy.
* Post content on social channels and provide metrics on engagement (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest).
* Manage the social media budget for paid advertising activities.
* Collaborate with global stakeholders to promote antibody content across the companies regional digital platforms.

eBusiness Support:

* Support the creation, maintenance or improvement of apps and tools on the antibody website with particular emphasis on the site's search engine

Required Skills

* Understanding / familiarity with antibodies
* Working knowledge / familiarity of MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
* Strong written / oral communication and presentation skills
* Strong interpersonal, problem-solving and project management skills
* Strict attention to details such as punctuation, scientific units, and wording/lexical errors
* Ability to adhere to operating procedures, work independently, and follow directions
* Knowledge / appreciation of search engine optimization is an advantage
* Experience of social media and blogging for a scientific audience is an advantage

Education: BSc/BA in Life Science or a Ph.D. in Life Science

Required Experience

Experience writing and reviewing scientific or technical content in an academic / commercial setting.
