My Client an Innovative Independent provider of specialist services for Children with Emotional, Behavioural and Social Difficulties are currently seeking 2 Residential Team Leaders in the West Midlands region to join their organisation and provide high quality, person centered support for children and young people that have experienced early life trauma, which may present itself as a range of emotional and behavioural needs.

Working closely within the management team, you will be responsible for a number of tasks, to include:

* Leading by example as front line managers and future leaders to staff and service user alike
* Provide a safe, secure and nurturing environment to ensure the safety and wellbeing of young people.
* Produce, maintain and distribute documentation to ensure relevant information is recorded accurately and is available. Complete additional reports as directed by the Home Manager and ensure compliance in line with regulatory stipulations.
* Analyse and manage the young people's behaviour to avoid incidents and improve behaviour and quality of life
* Create a positive behavioural culture and promote healthy routine to ensure young people respect the night time routines and expectations.
* Maintain knowledge of and apply the relevant legislative, contractual and inspection framework requirements.

You will work a varied shift pattern to include every other weekend, sleep INS and bank holidays. This will all be set in advance and your shift pattern will be given to you prior.

We are seeking applications from highly skilled practitioners with the pre-requisite qualifications and experience to excel in this environment. Additionally the successful candidate needs to be pro-active and resourceful to meet the needs of the young people. Caring, compassionate and the ability to think laterally whilst maintaining the dignity and respect of the young people.

To be considered for these sought after vacancies, you must demonstrate the following:

* Hold QCF level 3 in children and young people's workforce or equivalent
* Reside in the West Midlands
* Have a proven background within EBD or BESD residential services at team leader/senior or exceptional RSW looking to move into a senior role.
* Demonstrate proven senior/team leading skills and capabilities
* Hold a full UK driving licence

The successful candidate will benefit from a competitive salary, inclusive of sleep in allowance, up to GBP24,000 per annum dependent on qualifications and experience. Generous annual leave entitlement amongst additional benefits.
