Drama Teacher Required for Somerset Secondary School - Sickness cover

We are looking for a qualified teacher of Drama to teach Drama at a successful Secondary school in Somerset. This is a full-time Drama teaching role as part of an Drama long-term sickness cover including planning and marking. The role is expected to start within the next 8 weeks, and last for a period of three months, potentially longer depending on recovery. The school welcomes applicants from NQTs as well as more experienced teachers of Drama. The timetable is comprised of teaching at Key Stage 3 and 4.

To be considered for this role you must:
*Hold QTS status
*Have a thorough and in-depth knowledge of the Drama curriculum across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
*Have the ability to work collaboratively within a well-established, supportive and dynamic Performing Arts Department

The school is a caring community academy with around 1000 pupils on roll across Key Stage 3 and 4. It gained Academy status in 2011, and over the past 5 years the quality of Teaching and Learning and overall levels of achievement has risen rapidly at the school. They have high expectations in relation to attendance, punctuality, uniform and behaviour.
