As a member of the Casualty Claims Handling Team, investigate, negotiate and settle claims within agreed authority level in accordance with Company and regulatory requirements, ensuring a high standard of customer service.
Personal Injury Experience is a must have for this exciting opportunity to become a Casualty customer claims Handler. EiC Casualty BI Level 2 preferred. You will be expected to proactively handle a mixed caseload of public and employer's liability claims to achieve efficient and competitive settlements, ensuring claims are properly reserved and that unpursued claims are settled in accordance with settlement guidelines. You will be liaising with underwriters to ensure proper interpretation and application of policy wordings and appropriate knowledge transfer. You will be paying valid claims ensuring the proper application of policy limits and excesses and handling allocated internal tasks e.g. inactivity, diary, ensuring that all are dealt with within applicable time limits. You will have a 'can do' attitude and a flexible approach to work with the ability to work to monthly targets and able to demonstrate that you are a team player.
