Hays Education are very proud to be working on behalf of an Ofsted 'Outstanding' central based Birmingham secondary school to recruit for a History teacher for a short term, temporary post to start immediately. This is a part time, temporary teaching role, offered 4 days per week for up to four weeks within a Catholic secondary school.

Your new Role
In your new secondary teaching job you will be expected to deliver pre planned History lessons with confidence and enthusiasm. The role is offered as a temporary post, four days a week for at least four weeks. All planning is in place, therefore as a cover teacher your classroom responsibilities will be minimal. You will need to be experienced teaching up to KS4 and be familiar with the current curriculum.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your new teaching job you will have completed your studies and hold UK QTS. You will be an experienced History teacher that is passionate about student progress and is committed to helping pupils to achieve their academic potential. The ideal candidate would have been in a long term or permanent teaching role and have extensive experience teaching within Catholic secondary schools. You must be able to supply Hays with outstanding references from the previous employer.
