Position: International Language Advisor - German Speaking
Location: Enderby, Leicester
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours:
- Monday to Wednesday 8am to 2pm, Saturday 7am to 5pm & Sunday 7am to 4.30pm
- Monday 7.15am to 3pm, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Sunday 7am to 3pm
- Tuesday 10.15am to 6pm, Wednesday to Friday 10am to 6pm & Saturday 7am to 3pm
- Monday 3pm to 8.45pm, Tuesday to Friday 3pm to 9pm
Salary: 10.40 - 10.75 per hour

About the role:

As a Language Advisor, provide an efficient order and enquiry service for international customers, via inbound calls, outbound calls and emails; with the aim of understanding their international customers needs and increasing sales. Liaising with external 3rd parties as required. Display a high level of energy and enthusiasm, demonstrating a 'can do' attitude and exceeding customers expectations.

Responsibilities:

- Handle large volumes of incoming telephone calls and emails using the Directory systems
- Navigate and utilise various systems effectively and quickly to deal with enquiries and complaints
- Handle all work types received, taking appropriate actions using the systems available
- Use department information, and all resources available in order to provide accurate and up to date information to customers, retails stores and other 3rd parties
- Communicate and escalate any critical issues to the Team Manager
- Make accurate records and adhere to Data Protection at all times
- Adapt to the customer needs to achieve a satisfactory outcome for the customer and the business
- Provide an excellent level of customer service both internally and externally ensuring FCA standards and regulations are met
- Take ownership to resolve the query first time to prevent repeated calls from the customer
- Make calls to customers within agreed timescales in order to resolve enquiries and complaints satisfactorily
- Show urgency and ownership when calls are queuing
- Report any technical issues promptly
- Recognise when to escalate calls
- Use the tools / systems provided effectively
- Be flexible in supporting other departments with their workloads as needed
- Responsible for the safety of colleagues and yourself in the work place

About you:

- Be fluent in English and German
- Demonstrate a high level of translation skills from English to required International language
- Recognises what 'Great Customer Service' is
- Have good communication skills both written and verbal
- Can deliver an excellent level of customer service
- Can use a PC in a confident and accurate manner
- Be assertive when required, whilst maintaining a diplomatic and customer focused attitude
