Group Financial Reporting Manager
GBP60-70k + Excellent benefits

Our client, an award winning and market leading FTSE 250 company with rapid and continual growth in a hugely competitive industry are looking to source a highly ambitious and focused Financial Reporting Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Manager level candidate with a big practice background looking for a move into industry, or equally an individual with a practice background in an industry role looking for their next step up. This highly visible role reports directly into the Head of Reporting and Tax.

Responsibilities of the role:
-Managing the performance and development of the financial reporting team
-Responsible for the year-end and half year-end financial reporting processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting output in accordance with IFRS
-Timely and accurate preparation of all financial information in the annual report
-Responsible for for the audit process, ensure deadlines are met and accurate information is provided to the Group's auditors on time
-Overseeing the preparation of the financial statements for the Group's subsidiaries and ensure filing deadlines are met
-Overseeing the preparation of monthly control packs as part of the month end process
-Overseeing the preparation of the quarterly KPI information required for external reporting
-Liaising with key stakeholders such as Finance Director, Head of Commercial Finance and Investor Relations
-Own and Lead the Balance Sheet review process including presenting to the Board and stakeholders around the business
-Formulating accounting policy, providing technical advice and guidance to the rest of the business in relation to IFRS accounting treatments of various matters
-Supporting the commercial team in the preparation of monthly, quarterly or budget/forecast information where required

What we are looking for:
-Strong academics with a relevant degree (2:1 minimum)
-BIG 4/Top 10 ACA qualified with 3-5 years PQE
-Candidates will have experience in a large/blue chip organisation (As clients or within a role)
-Strong finance reporting and analytical skills
-Familiarity working with systems such as SAP or Oracle
-Strong communication skills and confidence to convey information to senior management
