Are you a highly organised, experienced Legal Secretary looking for a new opportunity based in St Albans? We have a fantastic opportunity within an expanding, well established and reputable law firm in the centre of St Albans.

In this role you will be joining a friendly team environment, providing secretarial and administrative support to nominated Managers, Partners and Fee Earners.

We are looking for someone with a strong legal secretarial background and can be flexible on the field - although Family Law would be ideal!

Key Responsibilities:
•Ensure accuracy of all work produced via audio typing
•Provide accurate and timely administration of all matters arising
•Organise meetings, conferences and book appointments
•Ensure that all clients and external visitors are greeted appropriately and offered refreshments
•Effectively liaise with clients and other professionals
•Demonstrate competency in all software packages relevant to role
•Act as ambassador of firm
•Create a positive working environment, encouraging teamwork, co-operation and collaboration

Person Specific:
•At least 2 years' experience as a Legal Secretary
•Good audio typing skills are essential
•Knowledge of all Microsoft Office products, especially Word
•Must be able to communicate with people at all levels
•Flexible with ability to use own initiative and common sense
•Able to work as part of a team in a busy office environment

Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm

Salary: GBP26k - GBP28.5k, depending on experience
